NASA Appoints New Center Directors

NASA today announced new directors at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) and Stennis Space Center (SSC).

Patrick Scheuermann is moving from SSC director to MSFC director.  HIs SSC deputy, Richard Gilbrech, is the new SSC director.

Robert Lightfoot, who was the MSFC director, moved to NASA Headquarters months ago as Acting Associate Administrator, the top ranking civil service position at the agency.   Lightfoot now officially takes that position, removing "Acting" from his title.
