Baumgartner to Attempt Record Breaking Sky Dive Again Today -- UPDATE 2UPDATE 2: He did it! Made the jump and is safely back on the ground. Check back here later for details. UPDATE: The balloon lifted off with Baumgartner in his capsule below it just before 11:30 am ET. Felix Baumgartner will try again today, Sunday, to make that record-breaking sound-barrier-busting skydive from 120,000 feet. As of 7:55 am ET, the event's sponsor Red Bull Stratos is saying that the earliest the balloon carrying Baumgartner will liftoff is 10:00 am ET -- 8:00 am MT in Roswell, NM where it is taking place. That is a 30 minute weather delay already because of high altitude winds that exceed the 10 knot threshold. Gusty winds delayed the last attempt on Tuesday.
