Space Deterrence and Crisis Stability Featuring Bruce MacDonald, 3:00 pm ET, DC

Bruce MacDonald, Senior Director of the Nonproliferation and Arms Control Program at the U.S. Institute of Peace will present a lecture on Space Deterrence and Crisis Stability at 3:00 pm ET on January 9, 2013 at the Stimson Center, 1111 19th Street, N.W., Washington, DC.   The emailed announcement, with further details, is reproduced below.

Stimson’s Space Security Program invites you to attend our next program, where Bruce MacDonald of the US Institute of Peace will present on Space Deterrence and Crisis Stability. We will convene on Wednesday, January 9th at 3:00pm. Stimson is located at 1111 19th St., NW. Our conference facilities are on the 12th floor. Space is limited.

Bruce is Senior Director of USIP’s Nonproliferation and Arms Control Program, where he serves as an adviser on a variety of issues related to nuclear strategy and policy, missile defense, arms control, and nonproliferation. Bruce was assistant director for national security at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. He has also served on the National Security Council staff, for the State Department, and on Capitol Hill.
